Syphilis: it's back!

"When people think of syphilis, they think of an old school disease that isn't really around anymore. This couldn't be further from the truth. Syphilis is very sneaky and easily spread, leading to a recent resurgence. Syphilis is a bacterial STD, or sexually transmitted disease, which means that it can be cured with antibiotics. If caught early enough it can be wiped out with one to three shots of bicillin. If caught late, it's a little more complicated."
